The season has begun and those rivalries are kicking… As Epiphany is back to defend their title we have a couple of newcomers that will be fighting to make a name for themselves. You will also begin to see some changes on this website. Our goal is to improve it, to make you want to check it often, to ensure a rich full SPVL experience. With that said If you take any pictures at the games we would appreciate it if you could send them into info@spvl.org or snail mail them to Office at St. Paul’s UMC Attn: SPVL, you can find the rest of the address on the About page. Also within the coming weeks I plan to start up the comments capability to give you the ability to comment on each entry onto each page.
Also start planning now, it looks like we have started a new tradition at SPVL, we will hold another Mission Fundraiser Event Volleyball Style at the end of the season. Stay tuned for more information and flyers to hand out. The last 2 events were a huge success and the Uganda 2008 Mission Team & St. Paul’s UMC Thanks all of you for supporting them in their mission work.
It's time to start another Awesome season of Volleyball. The season starts this Wednesday September 17th. We have 8 teams and 4 time slots, that means everybody plays each week. First Match is at 6:45 with Team 1 "The 13th Legion" vs. Team 2 "Royale With Cheese". The 2nd Match starts at 7:35 PM with Team 3 "Manasquan UMC" vs Team 4 "Death Volley". The 3rd Match starts at 8:30 PM with Team 5 "Epiphany RCC" vs Team 6 "2/3". The final match of the night is at 9:20 PM with Team 7 "Punishers Reloaded" vs Team 8 "Team Whatever". After the matches stick around for some free play at about 10:15 PM. Good luck to all teams and I hope you all have a Fantastic Season!

Just because the Spring season is now over and the fall season isn't here until September 3rd does not mean that we stop playing Volleyball, there are at least 3 wed. a month that there is free play, rain or shine, sometimes outdoors on the grass sometimes indoors in Norcross hall, should be a blast, come on out and bring your friends for a fun free summer night playing some rockin volleyball!
In a thrilling championship match Epiphany pulls out to put another championship under their belt, I believe this is 3 for them, Congradulations Epiphany! It seems though that they need to work on their fall game, if I am not mistaken they have only won their 3 championships in the Spring seasons. Watch out Fall teams, they are hungry to win their 1st fall championship.
